Clotilde Courau‘s recent performances include “Piaf l’être intime,” at the Nouveau Théâtre de Châtellerault and “In the Shadow of Women,” Philippe Garrel’s 2015 film described as “Exquisite” by Variety. It will be shown at the Gold Coast International Film Festival the same day Clotilde Courau appears at the New Year Music Festival in Gstaad. @courauclotilde

18.00 – “Pianissimo” The music of George Gershwin – François-Joel Thiollier, piano.

François-Joël Thiollier is an internationally recognized French-American classical pianist. He was appointed an Officier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2003. and has been a jury member for the Concours de Genève International Music Competition. He has performed in more than 40 countries, and made many, well-received recordings, including the complete piano works of Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Ravel and Gershwin.

Marwan Abado is the best known ambassador of oriental music in Austria and one of those musicians who demonstrate that Austria is a land of music full of inspiration and interesting encounters.  Paul Gulda was born in Vienna and has ventured into diverse areas including music for Austrian theatre companies. He conceived and presented programmes combining music and literature, including a programme on Felix & Fanny Mendelssohn, Heinrich Heine and Bertolt Brecht.
